I am studying for JLPT2 now and I thought I'd report a few mistakes I think I've found in the vocabulary list. (I'm not entirely sure that they're wrong though!)
1203 きょく 局 n court lady,lady in waiting
court lady, lady in waiting translation would fit if the reading was つぼね rather than きょく. Since 'kyoku' is more common than 'tsubone', 'kyoku' was probably the word intented to be on the list, thus definition should be corrected. 'Kyoku' definition from WWWJDIC: 局 【きょく】 (n,n-suf) (1) channel (i.e. TV or radio); station; department; (2) affair; situation; (P)
2097 じゅうぶん 十分 10 minutes
Definition should be changed to 'plenty, enough'
2558 せめて n offense,method of attack
Similarly to the above two, the definition should be changed. WWWJDIC: at least, at most
2664 そっと n face of the earth
Again, definition: (adv,vs) (on-mim) softly; gently; quietly; secretly; (P)
1191 きょうだい 兄弟 n (hum) siblings
It's a regular word, not humble
2365 ずうっと
2377 ~すぎ ~過ぎ
2672 そのころ
2475 ぜい 税
2542 せっせと
Some examples of missing definitions. There are too many of these. Most are suffixes or grammar related.
1479 ~ご ~御
Isn't this a prefix?
2684 （接。感） それ n it,that
Some items have random kanji where kana is supposed to be, like this one.
I find this list to be a very useful reference when studying for JLPT but there are a lot of mistakes and gaps. Maybe I'll post more corrections when I have time  |
