Hi all,

With the advent of the new Tier system in the JLPT, as many of you probably know, White Rabbit have updated their flashcards.

I'm only talking about the first set, Volume 1. If anyone has both sets, could they list the 15-20 new additions? I have the first one, but it doesn't seem worth an upgrade.

Thanks,

Mark.

“What's new in Series 2?”
We have revised our Kanji Flashcards series due to changes with the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). We are calling this revised product family "Japanese Kanji Flashcards SERIES 2" and it includes:
* Japanese Kanji Flashcards, Series 2, Volume 1: 300 Beginner-Level Kanji Cards (this product)
* Japanese Kanji Flashcards, Series 2, Volume 2: 750 Intermediate-Level Kanji Cards (to be released April 2010)
* Japanese Kanji Flashcards, Series 2, Volume 3: 895 Advanced-Level Kanji Cards (to be released June 2010)

In creating these new volumes, we have re-distributed some kanji between the original sets, and also changed the sequence numbers within sets. As a result, if you purchase the NEW SERIES 2 Volume 1 set and the original Series 1 Volume 2 set, you will end up with 16 duplicate cards.

I bought volume 1 and 2 last year (so I should be covered until N2). However, it would be nice if someone could say whether the new volume 3 from the Series 2 has all the missing kanjis from the old series 1 (I don't want to rebuy everything.

I messaged White Rabbit on Twitter and they said they'll be publishing a list of the extra cards in Volume 1, so I expect they'll do the same for the other sets. If not, contact them, they seem very helpful.
