Hi all, pleasure to meet you!
I have a blue practice book for N4 and N5, and I have a few questions (maybe stupid questions, but can't hurt to ask.)
1) Are the tests in this book actual length?
2) In many cases there is Hiragana written above Kanji... Kanji I was under the impression that I was supposed to know anyway. Will there, in similar cases, be Kanji with Hiragana on top in the actual N4 exam?
3) (not related to the book) Come test time, what are the rules for writing on, or in the exam. Are you allowed to write in the test book (say, to write a translation above a section you read to avoid multiple rereading). Is there scratch paper?
4) Though you obviously can't change any answers, will you be able to refer back to previous sections of the test once you have finished them?
That's all I can think of for now. Thanks a million!
About me:
I'm preparing for the N4 in December. I'm feeling good especially considering the approximated passing grades I'm seeing tossed around the forum.
I'm not looking for any shortcuts on the test, but it does affect what I focus on during my study time, so I still value any guidance I can get.
I currently teach English in Japan. |
