Hi fellow JLPTers,

I already have it, but haven't found out yet if Kanzen Master 3 Kyuu book is enough to cover all the JLPT3 grammar? Or do I need to complement it with another book?

Thanks!

You should be fine. It's a great book and I found it a big help when I done 3級.

EDIT: Actually, although it covers all the points, some of them might still be confusing if you haven't done them before, so you might want to use a website like JGram or something, but another book shouldn't be necessary.

Thanks deathspi!

It left me wondering if it covered all the 4級grammar as well!

Good luck if you're going for the 2級this year Wink

cheers!

Your welcome.
The book covers a few 4級 points, but not everything as far as I can remember, since it's a 3級 book.

...and good luck to you too, I passed my 2級 last year, and will take 1級 when I'm feeling brave enough! Wink

I finished Genki 2, and I'm now doing some exercises on minna no nihongo 2 (because it has some points genki doesn't). I also have kanzer master 3 kyuu.

As the levels have changed, is this book equivalent to the new level 4?

そうか。私もそう思いましたけど、知らなかった。ありがとうございました。

Hopefully I can study everything in the next 2 months. I will study 5 days a week for 2 hours (and not more because I alve to study other stuff during my days)

Kai, I'm in the same boat as you, just hoping I can do enough. I think 2 hrs a day is sufficient - I'm definitely not doing that much right now.

I also found that the Dictionary of Basic Grammar has just about every single grammar point found in N4, except for like, 10. A few also can be found in the Intermediate, but only 2~3.

Same here, I use the master serie 3yuu for the new jlpt N4,
it cover some 4kyuu (N5) points but you should know the basic grammar and particule usage (check in the master serie 4kyuu book if needed).

I love the dictionnary of basic grammar (and the intermediar and advanced ones).
They explain pretty well all the grammar points with examples.

There is the unicom book on 3kyuu but it's a japanese book, so you need a pretty high vocabulary level.

Cyril

Is there any workbook for Kanzen master 3? It only has the grammar point very short explanation, 2 example sentences and 3/4 exercises, I want exercices like the ones on Genki or Minna no Nihongo : |
