|
|
Hi all
I'm studing for N4 and wonder if anyone can help with a couple of queries. (London Jul '11)
Knowledge for N4 is approx 1500 words of vocab and 300 kanji:
Firstly, are those 300 kanji meanings included in the 1500 words?
Also, when one of the 1500 vocab words has a kanji that's not in the 300 kanji list, is furigana be given or will the word be written in kana?
Thanks for the help! |

Those 300 kanji's are in the words, yes. Notice though that there's not an official list of given words / kanji's you need to know for N4.
Most likely the word will be given in kana or furigana. |

Is there even any furigana? Words with kanji you aren't supposed to know yet are written in hiragana as far as I recall. |

AFAIK for reading they use furigana for N2, but not sure for lower levels. |
