i think the sou matome series is very good for n3. and it enables you to finish the course in 6 weeks.

I agree, the Matome series is good. However, just because you "finish" in six weeks doesn't mean you LEARN it all in six weeks and can instantly recall it. I just finished the kanji program and while I can easily recognize many of them, I'd say I know only 50% of them decently. I'm preparing to go through it again on a flashcard basis now that I've familiarized myself with them all. The vocab one I didn't follow their program because it was WAY too many words in one day - I just put them all into flashcard form and have been flipping for weeks.
IMO, if you're somewhere between N5-N4 level, jumping to N3 is going to be really difficult especially if you're just starting NOW. You're gonna need to do a pretty fair amount of studying daily to learn all the kanji/vocab and grammar you'll need to know in order to pass. |

for that matter any book u choose... u got to revise many times to master the contents !! sou matome will introduce you to the required portions in 6 weeks!! |
