I struggled with this, too. The thing that worked for me was that I found a kanji book that had simple reading passages in it. The passages were in regular Japanese with romaji in a different block below it. It helped me read because things were in context and as I began to see the same words over and over again, I gained speed.
I found that book at the beginning of this month, so it's very doable to learn in a short time assuming the other preparation is there. Given that the test is a week from tomorrow, though, you may not have enough time to really make a difference. I'm sorry. |
