Grammar Book

I`ve decided pass or fail 2kyuu, I plan to study for 1kyuu next year. I plan to buy all the books I need before I leave Japan, and am looking for a recommendation for a grammar book. I`ve narrowed it down to these two, for those who have used them:

完全マスター1級 日本語能力試験文法問題対策

どんな時どう使う 日本語表現文型500―日本語能力試験1・2級対応

And although it`d be nice to just buy both, both money and luggage space are limited. If I do get multiple books from different series for any part of the JLPT, it`ll be for reading practice.

Anyway, I like the fact that the latter book covers both 2kyuu and 1kyuu kanji, and groups them by meaning. Though, on the other hand, I already have the 2kyuu Kanzen Master grammar book so if I got the 1kyuu I:d be covering both anyway.

Also, has anyone looked at the reference text of the same series as 「どんな時どう使う 日本語表現文型500」? It seems to cover quite a bit and has explanations of the grammar points in English, Chinese and Korean as well as Japanese. If anyone has it or otherwise has an opinion on it, I`d love to hear it.

Actually, I just got all three this weekend, after having finished 完全マスター２級. Kanzen is, well, ok, and I'm used to the format. I wasn't entirely happy with the (lack of) organization in the level 2 book, though, and my teacher leans towards どんな時どう使う as being better organized, with points grouped according to use.

Also, exactly because I already did 完全マスター2級 does it feel like a good idea to review the level 2 material using a different source, not the same one I already know.

We've decided to use どんな時どう使い as the main text for the next year, and I'll complement it with 完全マスター more or less on my own. I also got the main gook for どんな時どう使う as it was cheap and complements my "real" grammar book quite nicely.
