I got stuck at 263 points which is no surprise since i didnt study at all. Not to mention that i got a 36 from Moji-Goi.
So the lesson we learn from here is: Dont underestimate 1級 |

Yay! Congrats, Applecart!!! Your 文字・語彙 score is amazing as always! さすがだね!!
Sparda, that's too bad- you were so close!! Are you going to go for it again this year?
Here's a repost of my scores:
文字.語彙- 80
聴解 - 73
読解・文法 - 182
TOTAL 335 / 400 合格 !
It will be interesting to see what the average scores were like for the test- I bet the majorty of people did horribly on the listening part! I still can't believe I even managed to get the score that I did.
All of the effort that I put into studying last year has really paid off- reading books, listening, and communication in general has become much easier for me. But I know that I still have a long way to go ^^;;;
I had the chance to test out how JLPT 1kyu is received in 就職活動 a couple of months ago. I was surprised that every person I interviewed with had heard about it, and the majority of the foreigners I interviewed with told me that they also hope to pass it some day.
So, JLPT 1kyu does look good on a resume (unless you're aiming to be a translator/ interpreter- I assume candidates with 1kyu are a dime a dozen). But by far the best benefit that I got from the experience was increased skills and motivation to keep going. The posters on this board helped a lot, too!!! Thanks again, guys!
To the 2007 1kyu 受験者 - have you been continuing your studies? I've been slacking over the past few months, but I think I'll take the BJT this year, just to see what it's like. How about you guys? |
